Let's keep the route alive: updates and reports on its passability

The Cammino Naturale dei Parchi is a living organism that changes with the passing of the seasons. Crossing the Apennines, from the parks of Lazio to the peaks of Abruzzo, means immersing yourself in a wild and dynamic environment, where nature follows its own rhythms.

Although the route has been carefully designed and monitored by technicians and park rangers from the protected areas, the vastness of the itinerary — which winds its way through 25 stages across woods, valleys and ridges — makes the contribution of those who travel it invaluable. On a journey designed not only for experts but for anyone who wants to reconnect with the earth, the safety and clarity of the route are top priorities.

In this section, we collect urgent notices and communications on the state of the trails (temporary interruptions, detours due to maintenance or adverse weather conditions). At the same time, we invite you, the walkers, to become “active guardians” of the route: please report any critical issues such as damaged signage, natural obstacles or accessibility problems encountered during the four weeks of walking.

Your cooperation is an act of care for the territory and solidarity with future pilgrims, essential to guaranteeing everyone the beneficial and safe experience that is the soul of our Way. Help us to protect this heritage of biodiversity and beauty, step by step.
