TheCammino Naturale dei Parchi(Nature Trail of the Parks) connectsRometoL’Aquila, winding through valleys and high altitudes of the central Apennines, passing through 42 villages inLazioandAbruzzo.

It was conceived by a group of technicians and park rangers from the protected areas of theLazio Regionto facilitate the discovery of inland areas,parksandnature reserves, Apennine villages and the rich biodiversity that characterises these territories, promoting slow tourism.

The route has been designed not only for experienced hikers, but for anyone who wants to enjoy an experience that is beneficial for the soul and body in contact with nature.

The430 kmlong route is modular and divided into 25stages,
spread over4 weeks.
