Adopt the path

Adopt a section of the path and make it safe!

The Cammino Naturale dei Parchi is not just a line on a map: it is a living organism that breathes through the valleys of Lazio and Abruzzo, connecting Rome to L’Aquila in an embrace of 25 stages and 42 villages.

However, the beauty of wild nature requires constant care.
To ensure that this itinerary remains accessible to everyone—from experienced hikers to families seeking authentic contact with the biodiversity of the Apennines—we need your help.

Keeping the trails that wind through woods, hills, and mountains safe and passable is a daily challenge. Vegetation grows, bad weather can alter the trail surface, and signage must always be clear to guide walkers in complete safety.

Adopting a section of the Way means taking responsibility for a fragment of this heritage, ensuring that the “secondary and rural roads” we love so much remain an opportunity for socio-economic development for inland areas and a safe haven for those who travel at a slow pace.

What does “adopting a section” mean?

Adopting a section of the CNP is not only an act of volunteering, but also an act of solidarity with local communities and a concrete contribution to the protection of biodiversity.

As guardian of the trail, you will be able to:

Monitor passability: Report any obstacles or need for extraordinary maintenance.

Preserve decorum: Monitor the cleanliness of the trail, respecting the habitat of flora and fauna.

Support rebirth: Many sections cross areas affected by the earthquake; taking care of them means keeping alive the bonds of closeness with these territories.
