Our year ofCivil Servicesaw the unfolding of various activities including trail maintenance, promotion, dissemination, and maintenance of medium and long-distance treks in theSimbruini Mountains Regional Nature Parkand theLucretili Mountains Regional Nature Park. and last but not least, the creation of the website for the innovativeCammino Naturale dei Parchi(Nature Trail of the Parks), a 450 km trail winding through seven protected natural areas from Rome to L’Aquila.
The creation of the website’s graphics began a long time ago, specifically with a series of meetings during which we received advice from digital communications and marketing expert Giulia Agostinelli, who explained how to promote a new type of tourist attraction that would strike a chord with people.
The team leader of the Civil Service working group was Francesco Battisti, who, thanks to his digital expertise, was able to coordinate us in the management and creation of the website. All the employees of the natural areas involved and the young people employed in the Civil Service projects promoted by the parks themselves contributed to the website with news, information, photographs, and interesting facts about the places along this route.
