An area with a high level of environmental protection!
Thewonderful duo of Sara and Claudiahave just completed the second stage of the Cammino Naturale dei Parchi (Nature Trail of the Parks), arriving in Rocca Priora, and with just under 50 km under their belts, they have already crossed two important and very different Regional Nature Reserves.
From the cobblestones of the Appia Antica, immersed in history and gazing at the landscape of the Roman countryside south of the capital, to wandering among caldera lakes that have filled silent and quiescent volcanic edifices, themselves architects of the plains from which they departed yesterday.
In a quarter circle drawn by walking, with Rome receding but often visible from a changing perspective, the relationship between buildings and trees shifts towards the denominator.
With the CNP, the value of this number thus becomes smaller and smaller as the stages progress.
Reducing this figure means reducing the negative impact of humans on Earth, whichsinceAugust 1 this year, we have once again exceeded, having exhausted the renewable resources at our disposal.
With a somersault of emotions and returning to Claudia and Sara, such is their enthusiasm that it would not be at all unrealistic to think ofseeing them arrivein Palestrina, Subiaco, and then Jenne, Trevi nel Lazio, and then Morino, Villavallelonga, and finally Pescasseroli,with an ever-growing group of companions!
We hope so.
