The Angelo Di Mario Aps Association announces the first edition of the Angelo Di Mario International Award, named after the poet, sculptor, scholar of Etruscan and ancient languages born in Vallecupola di Rocca Sinibalda on April 12, 1925, and who passed away in Poggio Mirteto on August 21, 2013.
Di Mario won important awards and conducted his artistic and linguistic research in a manner totally free from constraints. Recently, his archive was recognized as a national heritage site by the General Directorate of Archives. A library and house museum in Vallecupola, recognized by Mibac (Polo IEI), is dedicated to him.
The aim of promoting this figure is accompanied by the objective of protecting and enhancing assets of artistic, historical, archaeological, and naturalistic interest and naturalistic value in disadvantaged mountain areas, or in general, by combating induced cultural poverty that has erased and humiliated the values and history of provincial Italian territories, and by supporting and promoting scientific research in its various forms, from linguistics to history to artistic, historical, and naturalistic heritage.

Il Premio Internazionale Angelo Di Mario è stato prorogato al 31 dicembre 2020.
